Sales Development Representative

Our products are used in over 70 countries and in prestigious properties like the U.S. Capitol Building, Pearl Harbor, Buckingham Palace and the College Football Hall of Fame. We have more than 600,000 installations of SmartLink, our cloud-based irrigation management system that saves 20-60% in landscape water on most properties.

But we don’t stop there. We also give back to the global community through our Save Water, Give Life program, which provides clean water to thousands of children in need for every SmartLink connection.

As a Sales Development Representative at Weathermatic, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers. You will:

  • Prospect and qualify new sales opportunities through phone calls, email, LinkedIn and other social media
  • Learn everything about SmartLink and how it can help customers save water, money and time
  • Work closely with your assigned Account Executives to identify and target strategic accounts
  • Prepare executive summaries to help your Account Executives become experts on their prospects
  • Update HubSpot, our CRM, regularly to track your leads and follow-ups
  • Shadow your Account Executives in meetings and demos to learn from the best

This is an early-career position that will give you the opportunity to grow your career at Weathermatic and beyond. You will receive training and coaching from experienced professionals and leaders who will help you achieve your goals.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • A success record of 1-3 years of work experience in sales/business development/marketing
  • A strong interest in sales and a desire to learn and improve
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to take feedback
  • A strong aptitude for communication and interpersonal skills
  • A self-motivated and proactive approach to work
  • A passion for water conservation and social impact
