Weathermatic COVID-19 Public Statement
Here at Weathermatic, PERSEVERANCE is one of our core values that has helped sustain us for 75 years. We recognize that these times are challenging, and our prayers go to those impacted physically, emotionally, and economically by the COVID-19 virus. At the same time, we have unrelenting belief in the resiliency of humanity and faith in God and our country. We are so blessed to serve the Green industry that operates in outdoor, open spaces and exists to enhance the health of our landscapes. In fact, outdoor spaces give us all a place of refuge in times like these. We are especially reminded today of how the very urban landscapes our industry professionals manage play a vital role in producing life-giving oxygen and greatly contribute to public health.
As our industry continues to serve its vital function, Weathermatic places the utmost importance on the health and safety of our employees, customers, suppliers, and communities amid concerns over the COVID-19 virus. Having already taken steps to fulfill best practices of health and hygiene, we are consistently reviewing and applying all new information from the Center for Disease Control and World Health Organization. Mindful of this guidance, Weathermatic is continuing normal business operations and customer shipments without delays.
We have a robust global supply chain, and we are diligently monitoring all supplier shipments and forecasts. We have seen no COVID-19 related delays from our United States vendors, and our component suppliers from Southeast Asia have resumed shipments after initial delays of 2 — 4 weeks. As Weathermatic does not receive products from Europe, the recent restrictions will have no impact on our operations.
Because this is a dynamic situation, our supply chain and shipment status could obviously change; however, we remain optimistic for our supply chain and for our industry to continue to serve its critical role in our lives and economy. When we look into the months ahead, we foresee a wealth of opportunity generated from the economic stimulus measures being put in place. Weathermatic controller technology is already being used to grant remote access to properties that are otherwise inaccessible during closures. We look forward to partnering with our customers at an even higher level to increase access to this technology in the days ahead, just as our Weathermatic Foundation increases our efforts to serve those in the developing world with clean water and hygiene skills. Let’s all commit to being strong, hopeful, and create a bright and positive future, both in word and in deed – for everyone!
