Quality is why Weathermatic exists. Max Snoddy started Weathermatic in 1945 because the products on the market did not meet his requirements. His founding statement made it clear: “Our quality is integrity, of our people, our design, and our manufacturing.” We were a contractor at that time, so, not only did we build the product, we installed and serviced it. Almost 65 years later, contracting is still in our blood and keeps our commitment true to the quality standards Max set out for us

Today, quality is our top priority and part of everything we do. Quality starts in our understanding of product application and translates into specifications meeting the highest standards in the industry. Early in the design process, we utilizing cutting edge computer simulation technology and fabricated prototype models. And before a product is ready for manufacturing or a product change is qualified, we complete a battery of extreme and destructive tests benchmarked against industry competitors including: environmental chambers with extreme temperatures and humidity; ydrostatic testing for maximum pressures; reclaimed and dirty water testing; duration testing for tens of thousands of cycles; and field testing in locations throughout the world. Quality in design is carried through on the production line. Before their release from our factory, we 100% water test every valve and rotor; every controller and weather station must pass a rigorous diagnostic check.

Quality is made possible by the passion, experience, knowledge, and hard  work of our people. People like James Holley who leads our Product Research  Center. James has worked with Weathermatic for 30 years following in the footsteps of his father who worked with us for 35 years before him. Ingrained for generations, quality is in our culture.
